
If this is your first time here, then HELLO! My name is Inna and along with my husband, we enjoy building and renovating in addition to our jobs and babies. We recently sold our first, self-build home and bought a ’67 fixer that has been uninhabited for 15 years, say for a few raccoon families.
Week 2 has come and gone! It might not look like much but we have gotten A LOT done this week, namely deciding on final design decisions. We still have a long way to go but I’m confident, with my sweet mans lead, we will get both rooms done by the end of the ORC!
What we have accomplished in the bathroom so far:
- Rebuilt shower for tile
- Completed rough electrical
- Stripped old wallpaper
- Installed and mudded ceiling
- Finished rough plumbing
In case you forgot how it looked like in the past few weeks:
Okay, now here’s a list of what I hope to accomplish this week:
- Paint ceiling
- Begin installing wallpaper
- Install light fixture
- Install shower pan
- Start on tile
- Order vanity
- Make shelves (DIY POST COMING SOON)
- Order medicine cabinet/ mirror








And now on to the bedroom and what we have accomplished so far:
- Began trim install on doors
- Installed ceilings
- Mudded ceilings
- Completed rough electrical
- Installed can lights
- Ordered ceiling trim

- Complete wall trim and crown installation
- Choose a floor stain
- Finish door revamp
- Choose bed and night stands
