This powder room was an accident of sorts. I had never intended to finish the space this year and was holding off working on it until the Spring ORC. But once we installed the vanity, it got the ball rolling for the room. Before long, I had installed the wallpaper and painted the wall. My husband then installed the lights, baseboards, and black pencil edging.

I’m glad I didn’t wait until Spring, because this is the only bathroom on the homes lower level.

I was fortunate to have some leftover floral wallpaper from the current One Room Challenge remodel, and was able to use it as a feature for this bathroom.

You can find the faucet HERE and similar sconces HERE.

To give the illusion of tall ceilings, I had the sconces installed closer to the ceiling and added a tall and skinny mirror to sit right in between them. I think the illusion worked!

Thanks so much for following along!
