The Cedar Project Kitchen Reveal!
When we began the Cedar Project 3 months prior, we broke the project down into 3 phases. First and foremost was the flooring, then the laundry and entry rooms, and then finally the dining and living rooms, and kitchen.
I am pleased to say that we have completed phase 3, and all of the finished rooms will soon feature alongside this kitchen on the blog, but I couldn’t help sharing this kitchen first and foremost!
The main focus of this design project was to create a traditionally elegant home while still feeling fresh and functional with more modern elements, creating a cohesive juxtaposition of styles. The biggest hurdle, however, was the kitchen. Our clients wanted an open floor plan, which required taking down a load-bearing wall in between the kitchen and living room. After a month of gutting, permitting, and re-beautifying, we now have a beautiful yet functional kitchen for our clients to enjoy.
Though some initial details were changed, the color scheme remained the same. We went with charcoal cabinets, brass hardware, and Cambria quartz to produce a stunning kitchen!
Taking down the wall into the living room, we created an oversized bar with functional cabinets flanking both sides with additional storage.
Hardware was from Rejuvenations Rigdon Collection
Rug was vintage from Etsy
